Couldn't be happier...Well shit, its been almost a month since I had posted anything, and a good grip since I had really put up anything of my own. God damn I really have just been hard at it with this pan head. Its crazy how many different ways this bike had gone in my head over the past three years. You all know how it goes I am sure, spending this much time and effort, not to mention all the fucking money on a bike puts a little stress in the mix that makes it that much more of a challenge to get it right the first time. I hate wasting time, especially being a father and a husband, that makes making time really scarce and hard to come by. And my wife hates me wasting money, haha. But anyway lotta fathers out there and a lot of husbands. None of them have any time to spare nor money to waste, right? Any who... I had this image of a more chopper style in my head for the longest time, you know the look...tall sissy bar, 21 with an 18, ridged mounted king queen, narrowed tanks, all the rage and really bad ass in my book. But somewhere along the line I just knew this bike had to turn out a certain way. There is something to be said about early Harley Davidson styling and just kinda leaving it alone to a certain extent. Now I am not saying this bike is even close to a resto, its a half way around the world cry from even being close, but I really wanted to try to get as close to an earlier looking bike than I initially had envisioned. So here you go this is what I ended up with. A miss matched pile of parts that somehow and someway come together to, in my opinion, work really well with each other. Cases 49 right 55 left, jugs 55, heads 57, engine total rebuild by NOOT, trans 45 updated with ratchet top and rebuilt by NOOT, frame 55-57 restored by Chad Clapper to look perfect he did a really really nice job, front end hydra glide, 58 tanks, 55 corbin-gentry police solo, 21 inch front 18 rear, bars are a narrowed OEM dimension type bar stainless by Front Street Cycles, and you can see the rest...Love this bike!!!
